Good morning!

Gads, I don't write in this thing a lot, do I... Well then, just to update;

Website is down, and I'm looking for another host while I redesign it. I hate designing websites for the simple fact that I get stuck on what I want to put in it. Maybe it's a self-conscious issue, I dunno. Sales have been really crappy too, but that goes to show that I really suck at marketing.

I'm thinking about making a hardcover edition of Song Mistress, kind of a collector's thing. Really, it's only for me cause I've got a bad case of bibliophilia (unless I've lost it, I've never gotten rid of a book, even when I later came to dislike the series). But I'm going to [try to] add things like a map into it. Considering the book only covered a small portion of the north, I'm thinking that I should make two - one of the world, and one of the area that the book encompasses. I'm working on an acrylic painting of the first map (omg, I'm painting!!!); I had several sketches and was working on coloring in Photoshop before my computer died (/cry). But it will be made available at Lulu.com in my storefront whenever I get it finished (and of course on my website whenever I get THAT finished), but only through those channels cause it won't have an ISBN number attached. The first version didn't sell enough to justify an ISBN number...

Second book is coming along... I'm on part 2 of the first draft, and I'm writing in two different areas at the same time, whichever strikes me at the moment. I've tried really hard not to get ahead of myself in this one, and keep lots of notes for whenever my draft catches up with my muse, I shouldn't have lost much. Trust me, when you forget as much as I have, every thought becomes precious.

Computer is acting...ok. It still heats up when I play WoW, but I'm looking into getting a tower around taxtime so that I can stop being so edgy about putting things on my laptop. It will be stricktly school and writing. Or, for whenever I eventually get a job in programming - work and writing.

Just moved into a new house too! Much better than the last, and with option to buy in the future. And enough room for the kids and for me to have an office! Yay! Now I just need a desk...
